Jim
Kitendaugh spent fifteen years in line management of major non-profit
institutions, particularly in the areas of marketing, fund-raising, staff
development, and the development of management systems. Specifically, he
served as Director of the Capital Campaign for Tufts University’s successful
$145,000,000 effort; as General Manager of The Boston Ballet; and as
Managing Director of The Boston Shakespeare Company. He is an honors
graduate of Harvard College and holds a Master’s Degree from Tufts
University. |

Lynne Cavanaugh
co-founded The Wayland Group following six
years as a staff consultant for Arthur D. Little, where she specialized in
marketing, financing, and program planning in the health care industry.
In addition to her professional credentials, she is a Phi Beta Kappa
graduate of Tufts and holds an M.S. Degree in Health Policy and Management from
the Harvard School of Public Health and an M.S. Degree in Social Work from
Simmons College. |

Ann B. Peterson |

Ann has been with The Wayland Group for 20 years after 13 years as a manager
with New England Telephone. She has an extensive background in
management, human resources, planning and systems. Ann is a magna cum
laude graduate of Tufts University. During her tenure with The Wayland Group she has
counseled numerous clients in the areas of major gift solicitation, capital
campaigns, and strategic planning. |

Margot A. Biggin |

|
Margot joined
the firm in 2000 following fifteen successful years as a development
professional. Most recently, she served as Director of Development at
the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which raised $111 million within
Harvard University's overall $2.6 billion capital campaign. Her
previous fund-raising experience was with the Big Brother Association of
Greater Boston, the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, and the United Way of
Westchester in White Plains, New York. Margot is a graduate of Smith
College and has an M.B.A. from Boston University. |

Charlie joined The Wayland Group
in 2000 after more than twenty years working in education and the arts, most
recently as Director of Development and Long-Range Planning at the American
Repertory Theatre at Harvard University. He is a Phi Beta Kappa
graduate of Stanford University and holds a Ph.D. in English and American
Literature from Brandeis University, where he also served as Assistant Dean
of the College. |

Betsy has been with The Wayland Group for 15 years after consulting for a
community mental health program for 12 years and taking many leadership
positions on the Boards of various non-profit institutions in the Greater
Boston area. She has a strong background in management and strategic
planning and has particular expertise in the area of Board development.
Betsy is a graduate of Tufts University. |

A graduate of Brearley, Bates, and Boston University School of Management, Jennifer joined The Wayland Group in 2000 following 10 years at the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation (most recently as Director of Development), where she worked with major donors, managed large, complex special events of all types, and managed the Foundation's $10 million capital campaign. |
